Spend a pleasant afternoon touring through the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, visiting a selection of local wineries cellar doors with a stop to sample handmade cheese at the Maleny Cheese Factory. We also drive past the magnificent Glasshouse Mountains on our way home.
Australia Zoo is a “Must Do” during your visit to the Sunshine Coast. The many animals on display from Australia & around the world will amaze you, especially the animal carers taking the birds, koalas, dingoes & other animals for a walk around the grounds, allowing visitors to really get up close. The Irwin family’s ongoing commitment to conservation & wildlife is inspirational.
Choose to explore Australia Zoo for either the Morning or a Full Day. We arrive at Australia Zoo at approx 9am with the Half Day departing at appox 12.15pm (immediately after the main show in the Crocoseum). Enjoy a relaxed scenic tour through the Sunshine Coast hinterland, visiting Fairhill Nursery (one of the finest
Australian native nurseries in QLD) with a small gallery specialising in native plant & wildlife prints plus
books, Australian Nougat Factory (try some yummy nougat), & the Sunshine Hot Glass Studio where you’ll see
amazing glass art being created before your eyes! Morning tea is served amongst the beautiful gardens at the Ginger
Factory.

• Afternoon Tour (4 hours)
We visit the
Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden to experience the amazing Sculpture Garden, crafted onsite by local &
international artists from Queensland marble & sandstone. Enjoy a glass of wine with cheese platter before
moving on to Opals Down Under to see Australia’s national gemstone being cut & transformed into amazing
jewellery, then we finish our day by visiting a local art gallery or browsing the shops at Aussie World.
• Full Day Tour (8 hours)
Combine the
Morning & Afternoon Tours for a great full day out. You can choose to lunch amongst the lush tropical gardens
at the Spirit House Thai Restaurant or at Ginger Town Yandina (at your own expense).
This fun-filled tour visits some of the Sunshine Coast's best Tourist Icons. We start the day with a scenic coastal drive up the David Low Way to Noosa with a stop at Coolum Beach’s Point Perry lookout to see if we can spot some Sea Turtles or even a migrating Humpback Whale (June-October).
Noosa is one of Australia’s premier holiday destinations. Noosa Heads' world-famous Main Beach Hastings Street is alive with boutiques, cafe’s, world-class restaurants & superb art galleries. Explore Hasting Street to browse the shops or board the Noosa Ferry (optional expense) to cruise past multimillion-dollar waterfront homes. Disembark at the “Big Pelican” at Noosaville.

We then take a drive via Eumundi, down to Ginger Town, The Ginger Factory at Yandina, home of world-famous Buderim Ginger & Nutworks Macadamia Factory.
Next, we stop at the Ettamogah Pub to browse the souvenir shops or have beer & a laugh at this strange Pub, which is based on an Aussie cartoon strip.
Our return journey is a drive tour of the Caloundra Mooloolaba Beaches. Noosa guests have the option of spending extra time in Mooloolaba or Maroochydore at this point, before making their way back to Noosa by local transit bus (own expense).
This 3/4 Day tour offers a beautiful scenic tour to the Blackall Ranges in the lush Sunshine Coast hinterland.

We drive everyone up to the Blackall Range where you can enjoy the views of Glasshouse Mountains at Mary Cairncross Rainforest Park, then take a short walk through the rainforest or visit the country town of Maleny before visiting the Maleny Cheese Factory to sample handcrafted cheese. We then visit Montville to browse through the many galleries, curio shops, cafes of Montville for 1.5hrs, then finish off at the Mapleton Pub with great panoramic views back across to the Sunshine Coast.
This 1/2 Day tour offers a relaxing scenic tour to the Blackall Ranges in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
We drive up to the Blackall Range to visit Montville. We offer 2 options on this afternoon tour. You can choose either:

Visit Flame Hill Vineyard with its fabulous views over the valley back to the Coast. Taste their lovely range of

Village (meals at own expense).
See a classic silent movie at Australia’s Oldest Silent Movie Theatre, The “Majestic” Theatre at Pomona. Tucked away in the Noosa Hinterland is a piece of Australia’s Cinematic History, The Majestic Theatre, Pomona is a true Sunshine Coast icon.
Come & experience the Golden Days of Cinema when Rudolph Valentino gallops across the burning sands to rescue Vilma Banky from the evil clutches of Gabah the Moor in “THE SON OF THE SHEIK” with Live Organ accompaniment. There are very few places in the world where Wild Dolphins choose to interact with us. Just north of Noosa is one of those very special places.
We visit the only location on the Eastern mainland of Australia where you can hand feed a wild dolphin, it is also the only place in the world where the rare Indo-Pacific Dolphin interacts with us on a regular basis. On our return journey we drive through the State Forest to spot Wild Horses (Brumbies) & then stop to feed the Ducks & Turtles at The Gympie Gold Museum.

We drive west to the quaint country town of Imbil; when we hear the whistle blow, it’s “All Aboard” the “Valley Rattler” steam train. The track winds though crops, pastures & forests to Dagun Station where we stop for wine & cheese tasting, then re-board “the Rattler” for the run into magnificent Old Gympie Station. (Sat. train runs Gympie to Dagun via Amamoor.) Make sure you look for the amazing model railway display.

They call Gympie ”The City that saved Queensland”. Gold was discovered here in 1867, the gold rush lasted over 50 years with over 4 Million Ounces of Gold recovered. On our way home we take a drive-by tour of some the grand stone & timber buildings in Gympie’s city centre before returning to the Sunshine Coast.
Join us to explore the Heritage City of Maryborough & thriving town of Hervey Bay situated about 2 hours drive North of the Sunshine Coast. Hervey Bay is one of the fastest growing seachange communities in Australia & is situated as the gateway to Fraser Island.
Maryborough boasts many fine heritage homes & buildings from the late 1800’s; the reborn port precinct has brought the city’s history back to life with the Bond Store Museum showcasing life as it was in days gone by. Lady Elliot is the most southerly coral quay on the Great Barrier Reef, located in a highly protected Green Zone. The fringing reef abounds with amazing coral fishlife that will truly amaze you. The island is also the breeding ground for many types of seabirds turtles.

You will spend approx. 5 hours on Lady Elliot Island with snorkelling reef walk equipment supplied, as well as a combined glass bottom boat & snorkel tour.
